Alessandro Dell’Acqua is an Italian fashion designer born in 1962 in Naples, Italy. He graduated from the Art Institute of Naples. Some of his first employments were the Marzotto Group as well as Maska, Byblos, Genny and Gilmar. He also collaborated on designs for Les Copains and Iceberg. His specialty was knitwear and he started working for Pietro Pianforini, the famous knitwear designer. The designer worked with a small group of artisans in Bologna, Italy. This group now works for him.
